A wedding is an incredibly special time and one of the most significant memories you and your partner will share. It symbolises the new adventure of your life together whilst surrounded by your loved ones – or just on your own if that’s what you desire!
Before becoming an events planner, I toured the world as a professional Irish dancer, switched the stage for the sea, and worked as a Chief Stewardess on board superyachts. Much of my job was creating and planning events for various clients, dealing with the logistical challenges of being at sea and in some of the most remote locations. Working in this environment taught me invaluable organisation and multitasking skills, along with the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations and deal with unexpected issues. I ended up planning my own wedding from the isolation of a yacht due to being unable to get home during the pandemic.

I gave her a loose brief ‘bright pinks please’, and through her questions about what I did and didn’t like or want; she came up with the most exquisite settings. Our reception area was magical, the black and pink candles that Ciara suggested really made a point of difference, and her expertly crafted flower arrangements made our party pop.
